Beyond Fossil Fuels (BFF) is an alliance of civil society groups committed to transforming the European energy sector. We strive for a just transition to a fossil-free, fully renewables-based power system that protects our climate and people. This campaign is supported by a BFF secretariat, with staff spread across Europe.
As we continue to grow, we are looking for a proactive and motivated Working Student to join our People & Culture team.
As a Working Student in People & Culture, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day HR operations, assisting with recruitment, employee engagement, and administrative tasks. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a small and collaborative organisation, working closely with senior team members.

Locations we hire in: Berlin, Germany.
Please note that we do not have the resources to relocate candidates to Europe from outside the continent.
Your profile
Required skills & experience
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
Strong interest in People & Culture, HR operations, and climate action.
Confident using Google Workspace.
Fluent in English (spoken and written); proficiency in German is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems (Personio experience is a plus).
Desirable skills & experience
Prior work experience in HR or a related field.
Good understanding of HR processes and practices.
Knowledge of German employment law and HR best practices is a plus.
